We like Chariot for a couple simple reasons: Simple rates, all the big company perks: a mobile app, online account, usage stats and competitive rate and  big company backing form 174 Power. They are a BIG solar developer and all plans are 100% green energy.

Chariot has been featured only once on our top 5 list. Mostly because they pulled back from acquiring customers after the 2021 Uri storm. Looks like they're back in acquisiton mode, and that's good for you.

When their rates are good - they are sooo good. And then they pull back. We also like that they are deeply commited to solar and solar buy back products. They tick all the boxes, and when they have competitve rates - they are a great retailer.

Chariot Energy's positive reviews highlight competitive rates for renewable energy, transparent pricing, and helpful weekly usage reports. Customers appreciate their proactive communication, especially during the 2021 Texas winter storm. The company generally responds to negative reviews with apologies and offers to resolve issues.
